HERTFORD, UK - 20th January, 2011: NFS Hospitality provide their
Rendezvous
Workspace scheduling software to clients in the
corporate and legal industries around the world. The
fully web-based room and resource scheduling solution
already offers a host of features, including hot desk
management, delegate management & badge processing, and
live dashboards.
Now NFS has made a ground-breaking development with
Workspace Mobile. All of the
well-known and loved functionality of
Rendezvous Workspace has been combined with
the added convenience of mobility and ease of a
familiar mobile interface. Whilst the initial launch
is primarily for the iPad, it won't be long before
Workspace Mobile is available to other
mobile platforms, such as iPhone, BlackBerry, and
Android.
Previous achievements with integration to MS
Outlook calendars, facility management software,
video conferencing solutions, and energy management
systems make Rendezvous Workplace a
serious competitor. This innovative new technology
is being heralded as a leader in the 'Smart Client'

NFS developed this exciting new application
following an increasing demand by clients in the
corporate and legal sectors for a more convenient
way to book rooms and resources. "Employees don't
always have the time to go back to their desks,"
explains David Mapps, NFS Sales Manager for
Rendezvous Workspace. "They don't always know where
they're going to be, or how long for. This new
technology not only saves time, but also makes
employees' lives easier."

not been forgotten, with a complete service tracker
coming soon. Providing instant, automatic alerts for
cancelled, new and amended meetings, as well as a
method to deliver items to a room, desk or other
resource with a recorded delivery time and quantity,
Workspace Mobile will be the AV and catering teams'
essential workmate.

Workspace Mobile provides a mobile booking solution
for meeting rooms, complete with full MS Outlook and
Exchange integration, at a very attractive and
affordable price. In fact, the Workspace Mobile
solution is half the cost of proprietary solutions
which don't integrate with MS Outlook. Utilizing the
Rendezvous SaaS (Software as a Service) model
eliminates the need for large investments in IT
hardware and staff time, helping to jump an often
very difficult and high hurdle.
