Proskauer Rose LLP is one of the
nation's largest law firms, providing a wide variety of
legal services to major corporations and other clients
throughout the United States and around the world. It is
dedicated to producing results for individuals and
businesses. Founded in 1875 in New York City, the firm
employs attorneys in seven domestic offices: New York,
Los Angeles, Washington, Boston, Boca Raton, Newark and
New Orleans as well as an office in Paris.
During the firm’s 125 years of existence, the
New York office has grown from fewer than a dozen
lawyers to more than 400. Located in the heart of
midtown Manhattan in the Times Square area, the office
is a full-service practice, among the ten largest in New
York City.
This autumn, in an effort to speed booking of
its 54 meeting rooms in New York as well as meeting
rooms in its other domestic offices, the firm installed
Rendezvous from NFS Hospitality across its office
network. Rendezvous is a browser-based conference,
meeting room and foodservice management solution
designed to handle multi-site operations. |

“We went online with Rendezvous at the busiest time
of our year,” says Suzanne Kuszel, Conference Room and
Reception Supervisor. ”But the installation went well
and the system provides excellent access. It’s great to
be able to book rooms across all our offices. Our New
York office is the busiest but our attorneys travel so
much so we often need to book their meetings ahead.”

At present, the firm is using Rendezvous only for
booking but Suzanne is aware of the system’s broad
functionality in terms of equipment provision for
meeting rooms, such as A/V equipment, of security, such
as tracking visitors and issuing guest badges, and of
all aspects of catering. Rendezvous is an intuitive,
easy-to-use system that brings new accuracy and speed to
all aspects of meeting room management.
Going forward, Proskauer Rose will be using more of
Rendezvous’ functionality to speed operations.
Meanwhile, Suzanne and her staff are delighted with the
access they get to room availability. “We’re saving a
lot of time so everyone is happy,” she says.
