Self-Service Interface (EUI)
 |
 |
|
The Enterprise User Interface (EUI) for occasional users is a self-service web/intranet solution allowing customers and facilities management staff to book meeting rooms, hot desks, food service and other resources such as AV, concierge services, taxi and car parking spaces. Based on the familiar Windows XP desktop, the EUI offers easy integration with corporate intranets and venue websites.
The EUI solution provides an easy to follow predefined flow for making a booking or delivery request. Authorized users can create, amend and cancel bookings 24 hours a day. |
Some clients permit their customers to confirm bookings, while others only allow for tentative bookings to be made. Users can be limited to rooms and available resources based on specific security rights defined by the administrator.
For hands-off log-in, Rendezvous can interface with Active Directory and automatically authenticate all users.
Powerful Functionality
The EUI Module offers powerful functionality but is very easy to use. It can also be configured to handle:
- Meeting room availability via the corporate intranet, without providing full calendar information
- On-line booking of simple internal meeting rooms
- Generation of working requests including food service, equipment, visitors and other requirements, without the booking office having to re-key booking information
- Access for users, selected clients and agents to view their own working details, print a booking form and send special requests to the booking office
- Any restrictions needed such as restricting larger rooms from being available for on-line booking as well as setting time restrictions on the booking of individual items. For example, a banquet lunch cannot be booked at 6pm on the previous night.
