To better cope with expansion and development of their business, premier legal organization in the Middle East, Hafez Avocats, sought a new booking system for internal and client meetings. Their search led them to Rendezvous Workspace - the browser-based desktop and mobile scheduling software from NFS.
In 2004 the New York office of global law firm,
Clifford Chance, moved into new state-of-the-art
office space, complete with in-house conference
center. The firm knew that their in-house legacy
system could not cope with expanded meeting room and
conference management, and so sought a conference
center management system to match the sophistication
of their new space.
Wragge & Co is a top UK law firm with over
1,000 employees, including 615 lawyers. Recently a
major expansion of the head office focused attention
on meeting room management. The firm needed a system
that could handle bookings for 31 meeting rooms at
their head office and another 11 rooms in London.
The system also had to produce maintenance, catering
and quarterly meeting reports, as well as be
user-friendly. Rendezvous was selected and now
successfully manages bookings at both locations.
Fujitsu General (U.K.) Co., Limited is one of
the world's leading IT systems and service
companies. With thousands of employees at offices
around the world, its UK headquarters in London has
about 250 employees - and a steady stream of
visitors. Facilities Coordinator Jacqui Wade and her
team began to look for a system to handle catering
and meeting room booking, but on seeing a demo of
Rendezvous, they realized that it could handle much
more than that, including delegate management.

for their new National Learning Center, with 32
training rooms and a large atrium for events.

One US sports management organization is taking full advantage of Rendezvous, the web-based room and resource booking solution from NFS, ensuring major league success at the national headquarters location and also at large, off-site events.
The venues business is a complicated one. No two venues work the same way. What’s more, each must serve a multitude of purposes. One day a room might be needed for a corporate function, with video conferencing needs, broadband and wi-fi connections, flipcharts and a screen. The next day the same room might be used for a wedding reception, with all the catering needs that such an event entails.
King's House is the central meeting place and
conference center of King's Church, in Manchester,
UK. Over the last five years the center has seen
their turnover grow from £30,000 to £330,000, during
which time the business was using a completely
manual system involving an Outlook calendar and
Excel; a process that both consumed man hours and
was open to error. King's House purchased Rendezvous
SaaS, the fully integrated, hosted Conference and
Banqueting solution, in May 2010, as the ideal
solution to grow with their business.
New York's Lighthouse International is the
world's leading vision rehabilitation agencyand as
part of its extensive facilities, runs a busy

events. To better manage the booking of these

solution to replace MS Outlook.
Oasis Events is the exclusive management
company and caterer for two of downtown
Indianapolis' brightest special event venues: The
Terrace at Market Tower and Murat Shrine Temple,
each with its own restaurant and banquet/catering
components. To streamline its events scheduling and
boost accuracy in booking, the company recently
installed Rendezvous SaaS, the hosted version of NFS
Hospitality's advanced solution. Choosing this
option resulted in absolutely no installation or IT
costs for Oasis.
NFS' integrated Scheduling System offers
multi-location, centralized calendar management to
the Christian Centre Group (CCT), which
operates The Hays, High Leigh and Belsey Bridge
Conference Centers, all in the UK. CCT are
successfully using Rendezvous Events for the booking
of events, guestrooms, meeting spaces and restaurant
capacity across all three of their facilities.
London Clubs, a leading UK casino operator,

A modern conference center in a magnificent historic
building next to Westminster Abbey, Church House
opened in 1990, when it enjoyed immediate success
and won numerous industry awards. All meeting rooms
are equipped with the latest technology, including
video conferencing and infra-red translation
services. The center decided that its in-house
legacy system could no longer cope with bookings,
and selected Rendezvous, the browser-based
conference management system from NFS.
Convex Leisure provide quality hospitality
and foodservice at exclusive venues and outdoor
events around the UK. As the company began to win a
substantial amount of full catering and venue
management contracts, the management team realized
that only an automated booking system could handle
the workflow and calendar management they required.

Auckland Museum needed a reliable,
easy-to-use system for booking its multiple venues,
set to increase in early 2007. The Museum chose the
Rendezvous Venue Management booking software, which
now manages in-house catering, inventory control,
marketing, and all ancillary requirements for a
convention-type event center.
Winchester Guildhall is home to a modern
conference venue with extensive facilities; the King
Alfred Hall is one of the largest function rooms in
Hampshire and can seat up to 620 people. The

The City of London Club is an exclusive private
members' club with state-of-the-art conference and
banqueting facilities. Rendezvous was installed in
2006 on a hosted basis to manage bookings and
banqueting, and since being deployed has
dramatically simplified the booking process for
these facilities, and also freed up staff time.
Arena Leisure is the UK's largest operator of
UK horseracing fixtures and a significant player in
the corporate hospitality market. Its six
racecourses also offer a range of conference and
exhibition facilities, so the the company sought a
flexible and integrated solution capable of
centralizing its event management and driving its
hospitality and event bookings going forward;
Rendezvous ticked all the boxes.
ASB Showgrounds, New Zealand's premier
exhibition center, is a busy venue with a high level
of wide-ranging activities. The need for an
effective booking system was critical to the
organization and Rendezvous has proved a successful
conference, event and food service solution,
replacing an inadequate manual system with no
transparency or accessibility outside of the office.

The Interprofessional Immersive Simulation CenterTM
(IISCTM) is a training facility on the University of
Toledo's Health Science Campus. The center wanted to
improve scheduling and management of the facility by
moving away from manual processes, improving internal
communications, and simplifying the way people made
scheduling requests and invited attendees. Rendezvous,
with its ability to manage any type of space or
resource, is flexible enough to support the IISC's
unique equipment and set-up requirements.
UWC Atlantic College is an international
residential school based at the medieval St Donat's
Castle, in Wales. In 2010 the College began looking for
an efficient event management software system to help
unify commercial inquiries. It was the usability,
affordability, and flexibility of Rendezvous SaaS,
the hosted scheduling solution from NFS, that led them
to implement the solution.

Downing College is one of the 31 colleges that make up the University of Cambridge, and also host to a substantial range of conferences and events. As conference fixtures grew, the college decided to replace their manual booking system with Rendezvous Events, which they now rely on to provide better customer service and compete successfully in the university conference arena.

Distinct Hotels have recently implemented Rendezvous and are rapidly seeing significant increases in their conference and weddings revenue.
In summer 2006, Choice Hotels Ireland, which
operates about 21 hotels in the Republic, began looking
for a cost-effective meeting room solution for its
Quality Hotels and Comfort Inn brands. A key factor in
their search was that any new system would have to work
well alongside their SoftBrands PMS. They also needed a
system that would be easy to deploy across all sites and
that would adapt easily as the chain expands. Rendezvous
Events fitted the bill perfectly.
