White & Case LLP, the global law firm, has installed Rendezvous from NFS Hospitality in its new conference center in Manhattan. Rendezvous, which went live in September 2006, is a browser-based conference, event and food service management solution designed for either single site or multi-site operation.
NFS is an international software vendor with offices in the U.S. and the U.K. and partners in the Far East.
By the end of this year, White & Case’s dedicated conference center will cover three floors with a range of 30 meeting rooms. The firm previously had a mixture of attorneys’ offices and conference rooms on these floors but for reasons of meeting frequency and security opted for a dedicated area earlier this year.
Rendezvous as a Management Tool
Mary Janelle, who manages the center, said: “The implementation of Rendezvous has enabled the firm to more effectively manage meeting requirements, thereby maximizing the utilization of the conference center space. With the self-service module (E.U.I.), the administrative staff has immediate access to meeting details resulting in a more efficient planning process. Rendezvous’ user-friendly environment certainly enhanced the successful software implementation for White & Case.”
Rendezvous is used by many leading global law firms and international companies.
