Global Law Firm Signs Up Rendezvous for New Manhattan Conference Center

Founded in New York in 1901,
White & Case is a global law firm with lawyers in
the US, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East,
Africa and Asia. The company's clients are public
and privately held commercial businesses and
financial institutions, as well as governments and
state-owned entities.
As a single partnership, White & Case functions as
an integrated team, whose lawyers are linked by

global resources to bear on clients' most demanding
business and legal issues - promptly and
efficiently.
Following the construction of its new conference
center in Manhattan, White & Case has installed
Rendezvous, from NFS Hospitality. The browser-based
conference, event and foodservice management
solution, which went live in September 2006, is
designed for both single site and multi-site
operation.
By the end of 2006, White & Case's dedicated
conference center will cover three floors, offering
a range of thirty meeting rooms. The firm previously
had a mixture of attorneys' offices and conference
rooms on these floors, but for reasons of meeting
frequency and security, opted for a dedicated area,
and so sought a software solution that could handle
the booking of these rooms as well as the resources
required to hold each meeting.

Rendezvous as a Management Tool

Mary Janelle, who manages the
center, comments: "The implementation of Rendezvous
has enabled the firm to more effectively manage meeting
requirements, thereby maximizing the utilization of the
conference center space. With the self-service module (E.U.I.),
the administrative staff has immediate access to meeting
details, resulting in a more efficient planning process.
Rendezvous' user-friendly environment certainly enhanced
the successful software implementation for White & Case."
Rendezvous, developed and provided by international
technology provider, NFS, is being used succssfully in
many leading global law firms and international
companies.
