brings with him a wealth of industry expertise and
knowledge

Hospitality is proud to announce the appointment
of David Mapps to its growing management team. David
began his role as UK Sales Manager for Rendezvous in
January 2011, bringing great industry expertise and
proven sales success to the table.
Originally from Kent, David's career has focused on
IT, People Management, Sales, and Hospitality. His
most recent position saw him work his way up the
ladder at Datacraft Design Ltd, an international
provider of hospitality business software, in roles
including Technical Support Engineer, Sales &
Marketing Executive, Global Account Manager, and
finally Global Solutions Consultant.
In this last role, David designed, implemented, and
maintained a global sales strategy and also led the
complete implementation process of software for
international clients. A great communicator, David
was responsible for major accounts including Bank of
America, BlackRock, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, and
Fidelity International.
David also worked in various hospitality and retail
businesses in managerial and sales positions. He has
a wealth of qualifications behind him, including
Essential Management Skills, Essential Sales Skills,
Master Certified Internet Webmaster Designer,
Microsoft Certified Applications Developer, and a BA
(Hons) in Business
Administration.
